【Job Overview】
  • Legal counsel/staff attorney reporting to Japan general counsel. Lead contact and account manager for one or more areas of the business with independent responsibility for supporting in-house business partners.
【Key responsibilities】
  • Provide sound legal advice and counseling to business partners on various healthcare industry-related matters, including but not limited to, general corporate, commercial, regulatory, anti-trust, intellectual property, employment laws and business transactions among others
  • Serve as a member of the lead team in one of the business units and make decisions that impact the business unit
  • Influence complex business or technical issues and drive solutions impacting results within a business area
  • Work closely with colleagues/internal business partners to proactively identify and prevent legal risks
  • Draft, negotiate and review contracts and agreements

<Position purpose>
  • This position is responsible for the service provision of Office Management for Bayer House Tokyo and CS & AH Sales offices. The jobholder reports to Office Management Manager.
<Major tasks and responsibilities of position>
  • Provision and maintain of office management and services including president office within budget (office design and layout, reception, mailing service, etc.)
  • Regularly review facility and services, make suggestions for improvements (e.g. cost effective solutions, innovative ideas and high customer satisfaction)
  • Regularly monitor up-to-date office trend, market trend and office solutions

  • Deliver a positive, consistent candidate experience through all Talent Acquisition touch points to enhance Bayer's Employer Brand
  • Ensure detailed understanding of Bayer’s talent segmentation and each position in own area of responsibility in particular
  • Act as the single face to the internal or external candidat and Hiring Manager customers
  • Take a "project lead" approach to each and every recruiting case and mandate
  • Manage the recruiting process end-to-end, ensuring all KPIs, global standards and metrics are met and / or exceeded
  • Establish and maintain relationships with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
  • Steer the intake meeting with the hiring manager and HRBP to define the recruiting and onboarding strategy and provide labor market insights on the availability of the talent group
  • Conduct telephone interviews to assess motivation and cultural fit, review any gaps in the resume and assess suitability for the position
  • Coordinate all process around the package preparation, the definition of the employment details as well as the contract management , e.g.advising the hiring manager if the salary is within the defined range
  • Contribute to the Bayer TA strategy implementation by aligning external labor market realities with internal business demand for high impact, low availability critical talent segments (Sourcing & Recruiting Advanced ("Tier 2"))
  • Act as an advocate for Bayer on the external labor market by living the LIFE values and communicating the Bayer Employer Brand complemented by target group specific selling stories
  • Ensure detailed understanding of Bayer’s talent segmentation and each position in own area of responsibility in particular
  • Approach potential “ready now” candidates with open positions and hand them over into the recruiting process
  • Source candidates from Bayer's critical talent segments by using different online and offline sourcing strategies and by successfully implementing them
  • Leverage the full range of internal and external sources of internal and external candidates for Bayer, thus also promoting internal mobility within Bayer
  • Comply with laws and regulations when applying different sourcing practices
